Rapid Volume is a technique using beautiful pre-made heat-bonded fans (not to be confused with party lashes).
Depending on the look you wish to achieve and the suitability of your natural lashes, we can offer 3D and 5D volume lashes in thicknesses varying from 0.05mm to 0.10mm which will allow great creativity for your lashes.

How to Prepare for Your Lash Extension Appointment
Ensure you arrive with makeup free, squeaky clean eyelashes.
If you wear waterproof mascara, discontinue use at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
Ensure oil based products are not used on/around the eyes (this is true for aftercare purposes also).
Remove contact lenses.
Wear comfortable clothes. A full set will take around 2 hours.
Wash your hair! I say this because to ensure the best retention of your lash extensions, it is preferable to not get them wet for 48 hours after application.
Please feel free to bring headphones for audio listening purposes if you wish. There will be relaxing background music for you to listen to but as this is a no talking treatment, please use the time as you wish. Many clients will fall asleep!
What to Expect at Your Lash Extension Appointment
Upon arrival (with your makeup free, squeaky clean lashes please!), you will be asked to lay down face up on the beauty couch and be covered with a blanket to ensure your comfort.
Your lashes will receive one last cleanse and then soothing gel pads will be applied to your lower lashes in order to keep them out of the way and to provide a white background for your lash extension application.
You will be asked to close your eyes and it is important to keep them closed until you are informed that it is time to open them again.
Your lash extension “look” will be mapped out on to the gel pads to ensure correct lengths are applied evenly to both eyes.
I will apply micropore tape to lift your eyelids slightly - this may feel strange but it helps to bring the lashes up and away from the gel pad which also aids in lash isolation.
Lash extensions will then be applied individually to each eyelash, working between each eye, 3-5 eyelashes per eye. This will ensure an even application as well as ensuring time for the adhesive to dry.
Once your desired look has been achieved, each lash extension will be inspected to ensure none have become adhered to each other and then a small air blower will be used to help dry the last of the adhesive and help to dissipate any fumes.
Lastly, your eyelid will be lifted slightly to check for and release any “stickies” that may have occurred if a lower lash has escaped from underneath the gel pad.
Then once the gel pads have been removed, you will be free to open your eyes and inspect your new fabulous lashes!
Aftercare Advice for your Lash Extensions
Caring for your lash extensions is so very important, I cannot emphasise this enough! When you leave the treatment room, the longevity of your lashes is in your hands - to ensure maximum retention of your lash extensions, please follow the advice listed below:
Avoid water and humidity for the first 48 hours post application - this is where dry shampoo is a godsend! Turn down the heat on the shower to reduce steam, and stay away from the pool, sauna and steam room. Reschedule any sweaty exercise sessions!
Avoid using oil based products/makeup remover on the face as this will interfere with the bonding of the adhesive. Oil is lash adhesive's kryptonite!
Don't rub your eyes or pick at your lashes... for obvious reasons! The rule "look, don't touch" applies here.
If you wear eye makeup, remove it with cotton buds dipped in micellar water and be careful to not get them caught up in your lashes. Or try using lint free cotton pads.
Clean your lashes 2-3 times per week with a soft brush, and preferably with foaming lash cleanser. Rinse with water. A good time to do this is before you get in the shower.
I will recommend a lash cleanser at your appointment. Do not use micellar water directly on your lashes.
Always pat your lashes dry with a soft towel and then comb through with your lash brush to ensure they don't clump together.
Do not use mascara on your lash extensions. Hopefully this is an obvious one! Mascara on the lower lashes of course, is fine.
Do not use mechanical curlers on your lash extensions. Again, this should be obvious.
Lash extensions require infills every 2-3 weeks depending on your individual lash cycle. Please clean your lashes the evening before your appointment and remove eye makeup prior to your treatment.
